Irena and I went to your usual tuesday movie night because it's buy one get one free every tuesday. She wanted to see this one i think mainly because of Chris Evans. She thinks he hot but whatever. I wasn't expecting a whole lot and that's pretty much what i go. It was a poorly written, poorly acted, boring "action movie." There was maybe 2 actions scenes in the entire film. Most of it was this long and confusing story that didn't even wrap up at the end.
If you don't know the premise basically it's about these people who have special abilities (kinda like the xmen) who were created by the government and now are being tracked down (kinda like dark angel.) The opening scene was a direct rip of the matrix opening sequence except not nearly as well done or entertaining. And while i was hoping it would at least by a good action flick it failed to deliver there also. There were times where i was dozing off, literally. Oh and Dakota Fanning sucked.
I give this movie a 2 out of 10. It's basically like jumper but without sam jackson.

That's what I was going to say! It totally looks like last year's JUMPER. Basically someone thought, "hey wouldn't it be cool if there was a character who could (insert your favorite super power here) and there was a movie about it?" It's just another dumb film where the plot revolves around a super power. No character development, no lesson to be learned, and what little story there is only goes to support the idea of this dumb power that main character has.
awe i admit it wasn't as good as I hope but i was going to see it sooner or later because of chris evans so im not sorry I saw it. it's not something i would say "what a waste of my time" for cos I got to watch chris evans lol.
and i thought she was good in it.
