Terminator Salvation Review

Lets look at the facts shall we?

Fact #1. The original Terminator movie was awesome and dark
Fact #2. T2 was one of the best action movies of all time and dark
Fact #3. T3 was a huge pile of tampons and horse shit.

Ok so we have established the facts about the previous movies lets get to this one.

I was excited about the idea of seeing the war between man and machines. We got a glimpse of it at the beginning of T2 and it looked bad ass! So this movie opens as advertised but there is one problem. Instead of it being Terminator... it's more like Transformers. ugh. Not that transformers was a bad film, it's a family movie and Terminator is not supposed to be a family movie. It was not dark, it was not edgy. The story was not very interesting. Some of the effects were shitty while other were great. Christian bale was much better as john conner than that last douchebag in T3 but i actually felt the other male lead did a better job in this one. And yes Arnold was in this one but not the real Arnold. A god damn CG Shrek version of the governor.

Overall i give this one a 5 out of 10. Much better than the 2 out of 10 i gave T3 but nothing great. It's a Rental for sure.
