Drag Me To Hell Review

I am a big fain of Sam Raimi's "Evil Dead" movie. The original one not the sequals. The original is a classic horror movie made on a very low budget, hopefully you have seen it. I know he directs the Spider man movies and i am not a huge fan of those films but when i found out that he was making another horror movie i got excited! I had visions of another evil dead like film.

Well drag me to hell is not like that. It's a really REALLy fun horror film. It's more comedy than it is anything. I wasn't expecting that but i found myself laughing and having a good time throughout the entire film. There are some really outlandish and insane things that happen in the film that i don't think i have ever seen in any other film.

The special effects were a little shitty but i think maybe some of it was on purpose. If you see the movie you will know what i mean. At times is became almost cartoonish. There was one obvious editing mistake where the main character gets thrown into a dresser and she starts smiling. That looked really out of place but i think that it goes along with the rest of the film. It's intentionally bad but it's good and fun at the same time.

It's hard to judge this movie because it's not really a serious horror film but i am going to say... go see it!
